Talents of tomorrow presents the bright minds and aspiring talents of tomorrow from the wind energy research world. Keeping to a tight format with concise and relevant presentations, the PhD students put forward their newest research discoveries and ideas to the audience of industry professionals and experts attending WIND ENERGY DENMARK 2017.
Last year, Kasper Sandal, a PhD student from DTU, was rewarded for his excellent research on optimizing design for jacket foundations, that he was invited by the industry to join the Megavind Task Force on Jackets to present his ideas to the working groups comprising of industry experts from both Denmark and other European countries. This goes to show, that just as industry experts can mentor and educated young talents, so can talents inspire the professionals who have worked in the industry though years and decades.
